To Be Like Jesus
Current Situation
Retired Pastor David H. Graham self-published the book while holding a Sr. Pastor position near Las Vegas - who knew, sin city has religion? Well, the sub-title of the city does, nevertheless, reference a biblical concept...SIN! Now, perhaps, 'Vegas' is on the 'opposite side' of these things, however, the town seemingly, probably at least believes in something...however, ignorant or educated that the Vegas-ites may or may not be...
As an integral part of David's role, David has given, for free and also accepted donations (LUCKILY) from his merry men (AND WOMEN!) and jolly band of church attendees. However, as the 'business of church goes' the church decided to allocate roughly $800,000 USD for a brand new solar panel system (that could have built, with materials, for roughly $6-8,000 USD) and let go 'the people's champion' (not too dissimilar to Arnold Palmer's Army), however, most likely due to age and/or retirement.
So Dave has found himself in a perplexing scenario - partial retirement in another state. What to do, now? What reasons are there to bother to roll out of bed in the morning? Well, the answer, at least for Dave, was to tinker with the idea of book promotion. And after serving members and non-members in a completely different context, decided that promoting his book through various 'channels' may do the trick. Without really an set goals or outcomes in mind, Dave wandered into the realm of AutomationAnytime.com.
Discovery Process
Our discovery into Dave's world was an interesting change. In other words, Pastor's and religious leaders, have a surprising amount of solid and excellent business accumen and we found ourselves perhaps, learning more about processes that telling anything about what could or couldn't be done.
The refreshing portion of Dave's outcomes, is that there really wasn't any expectation of success, more like a, to use the words of Dave's religion, 'A hope for the future'...which, perhaps ironically is somewhat of an ideal mindset for a new-er endeavour.
We found, however, since there wasn't a high level of expectation, some of the things that Dave was unaware of and/or un-initiated in, were simply disgarded as non-relevent to immediate success, and therefore, took a bit of convincing.
Negotiations
Reaching agreement didn't take long, however, ongoing negotiations on the 'what's possible?' will, most likely, be like 'walking on egg-shells'. In other words, with limited budgets, a mis-step in Dave's campaign means that other, perhaps, more revenue generating process, may be delayed or put on the proverbial 'back burner'.
Our Service Agreement(s) with Rev. Dave
Online Advertising campaign on the 'big sites' with some innovations with marketing to de-centralize and 'split test' multiple versions of content, etc.
Offline promotion as an 'add-in' to existing service marketing (currently on commission only basis that will eventually morph into standard monthly payouts (i.e. Annual Contract paid on a monthly basis) as traffic and visitor flows fluctuate. In other words, once month by month vistor/user activity is observed and analyzed we'll move our service contracts from variable pricing to fixed-rate cost.
Example of one 'write-up' / webpage already built for Dave.
