Ahhh, the meaning of life? Brings to mind Monty Pythong's Fishbowl Scene?
There are some questions, ya know, that require context. Artificial Intelligence and Artificial General Intelligence is, perhaps, a ways away. And then of course, answering, accurately, relative questions. And perhaps, it's all relative? The fish, are perhaps, related to one another? Relatives?
With that said, there are some interesting companies that have been devalued due to 'big brains' saying this or that about their potential impact in technology. However, to answer or ask a different kind of question the fishbowl fish's question of "What's New" (proverbially asked question or not). Japan has successfully become FASTER with internet than ever before. Reaching speeds that, if predictions are accurate, could download the entirety of the known internet in 4 minutes? Ahhh the technology world's Roger Bannister feat of speed and strength? Where's my Trek / Track shoes?
These kinds of feats of technology prowess and strength prompts other questions and potentialities and outcomes. In other words, what would we actually be and do if the interconnectness or the striving to be connected was no longer relevant?
Can tell you one thing - at least for me, some archaic sayings, nevertheless, perhaps become somewhat relevant?
An example might be - do we really know about everything that is "under the sun"?
As King Zalman / Soloman once is written to have said "there is nothing new under the sun. A chasing after the wind."
This saying, unfortunately, was inaccurately asked to these fish in water, because...the wind has little to no influence on these creatures of the water. Then again, the wind could reach unknown levels?
In other words, our animalistic instincts and animal version of ourselves combined with the Earth's capabilities far outweighs what we meager humans can postulate or form.
Nevertheless, we. still. ponder.
